About The Tannery
Created in 1838, Tannerie d'Annonay, renowned for their know-how, became a world-wide benchmark in the box calf tannage. This process gives the leather durability, wear-resistance, transparency and beauty highly prized by luxury shoe and leather goods designers around the world. Located in Annonay, a leather-production centre since the 12th century, the tannery is right in the heart of the traditional calf leather manufacture. They owe their fame to two world-renowned tanneries in the 20th century: Combe and Meyzonnier, from whom they inherited this know-how.
Tannerie d’Annonay is a part of the HCP group, a group of several tanneries specialized in exotics and calf leather.
